LSNA Paddle Tour - September 20, 2025

We were incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful day for our very first paddle event, which took place at Luckiamute State Natural Area (LSNA) North Unit. Thanks to Oregon State Parks ranger, Steve Hernandez, we learned how past industries shaped the river, uncovered the hidden lives of freshwater mussels, heard stories of historic log drives, and discovered how beavers help keep our waterways healthy. It was a fantastic river voyage that connected participants with Oregon’s natural history with its cultural roots!
