Part of the property is being managed for agricultural production, and approximately 120 acres has been converted to native habitats with an emphasis on wildlife and endangered species conservation, 70 acres of which is being managed specifically for threatened streaked horned larks. Apply for this FREE 5-part workshop series and field tour experience to learn about natural resources, get professional guidance for conservation projects on your land, and connect with your neighbors in the watershed.
Due to the popularity of this workshop, you will be required to submit an application. The application is open to any landowners and managers, but depending on the number of applicants, we will prioritize participation for those who care for at least five acres of land. The application process is open now, and selections will be made by mid-December 2025. Classes will be taught by subject matter experts who live and work in Benton, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, and Polk Counties. |
