Join the Luckiamute Watershed Council and Salem Audubon for a guided bird walk through the scenic Inspiration Garden in Independence.
We'll explore a variety of habitats within the gardens, from the cultivated plots to the tree-lined riparian trail along South Fork Ash Creek (one of LWC’s earliest restoration projects). Along the way, we’ll look and listen for the many birds that call this area home, including both year-round residents and seasonal visitors. This walk is perfect for all experience levels. Beginning birders will learn tips for identifying both resident and migratory birds by sight and sound, while more experienced birders can enjoy helping spot and identify the diverse birdlife found here. RSVP is required! Scroll down to fill out the registration form (limit of 2 attendees per registration)
